2007 Scottish Disability & Business Award! Travel Dundee, part of the National Express Group, is today extremely proud to announce that the Company has won the prestigious 2007 Scottish Disability & Business Award.

Jim Lee, Managing Director of Travel Dundee said; "We?re delighted that we've been successful in winning the award this year. Almost exactly three years ago, we became the first major bus operator in the UK to operate our fleet with 100% low-floor, easy access buses which has helped us to make travel simpler for every single person here in Dundee.

?We?ve been working very closely for a number of years with the likes of the Broughty Ferry-based MacKinnon Centre, a well respected Respite Centre which performs an amazing, long-term role in the community. Through this relationship and others, we have been able to ensure that people with disabilities have all the bus information they need to make a hassle-free journey. This award is yet another proud moment in the history of Travel Dundee and we?re delighted that we?ve been recognised for making a contribution."

Jim added; "Here at Travel Dundee, and across National Express, we are continuing to work closely with everyone within our communities to make travelling by public transport an easier, more attractive option."
